Rossi triumphs at Brno and opens up championship lead
It was a pole-to-flag finish for "the Doctor" Valentino Rossi at the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic on Sunday. From the start the Fiat Yamaha duo of Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo were dominant with both embroiled in an exciting fight for the lead of the race throughout. But it was Rossi who emerged triumphant as the Italian claimed a dominant victory, claiming his fifth win of the season and an all-time record. The Italian has also opened up a 50-point gap over Lorenzo in the championship title race. Lorenzo meanwhile crashed out with five laps remaining in the race. Team Report
