Jacques Villeneuve spent his first official day of work with SAUBER PETRONAS with a seat fitting for the C23 as the Canadian visited the Hinwil factory yesterday.

Villeneuve, who signed a two-year contract with the Swiss team, will be testing for SAUBER PETRONAS for the first time in Barcelona next 26 November.

Looking forward for his first inmpression of the C23, Jacques expects to further continue the development work for the new car next season.

He said, “The first day of work in a new team is always something very special. I’m looking forward to my first test and my first impressions of the C23 with eager anticipation."

"During the course of the season SAUBER PETRONAS’ performance curve was clearly pointing upwards, and of course I’m hoping that we’ll be able to continue this trend next year," added the ex-World Champion confidently.
