Following the announcement of the partnership between FIAT YAMAHA and PETRONAS earlier this year, PETRONAS Motorsports is proud to announce that we will be displaying Valentino Rossi's #46 Yamaha YZR-M1 motorcycle to the Malaysian public. The display is designed to give the public the opportunity to get an up close and personal view of the machine for the very first time.
As the reigning 2008 FIM Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix or MOTOGP champions, the team’s challenge in 2009 will be spearheaded by multiple champion Italian Valentino Rossi and the young Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo.
The bike will be on display at the foyer of the Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS, at the PETRONAS Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur from 27 July – 9 August.
The display is meant as a prelude to Rossi and Lorenzo's outing on Malaysian soil later this year at Round 16 of the MotoGP championship at the Sepang International Circuit in October.
