MERCEDES GP PETRONAS Formula One Team meet the fans
Fans of Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg were given a special treat on Tuesday evening when the two MERCEDES GP PETRONAS Formula One Team drivers made a special on-stage appearance at the PETRONAS Pit Pulse. The duo were also joined by Nick Heidfeld, Team Principal Ross Brawn and the Vice-President of Mercedes-Benz Motorsport.
Addressing the fans who waited through the rain for a few hours; the drivers talked about a variety of things including their preparation for the upcoming PETRONAS Malaysian Grand Prix at Sepang this weekend.
Norbert Haug notes, "The Malaysian round is our second Grand Prix in eight days and for our team, a really special event. Malaysia with its capital in Kuala Lumpur is also the headquarters and home of our title partner, PETRONAS. This makes the Malaysian Grand Prix the new "home race" for MERCEDES GP PETRONAS."
He adds, "It would be particularly nice to achieve a good result at PETRONAS' home race."

Echoing the sentiment, Michael Schumacher certainly gave fans something to cheer about noting, "It's good to be back, we have a great partner in PETRONAS so I will certainly do my best this weekend."
Nico Rosberg also notes, "It's the home Grand Prix for our title partner PETRONAS and before the race weekend gets underway, I'm looking forward to our demo runs at the PETRONAS Pit Pulse on Wednesday."
